Cue Workspace

Privacy

Cue is designed so that your study library stays on your Mac. This notice explains the limited information Cue Workspace handles when you sign in, buy balance, or use its AI features.

Who is responsible

Cue Workspace is the data controller for the account information described here. Contact support@cueworkspace.com for privacy questions or requests.

What stays on your device

Your lecture files, Cue packs, accepted cards, answer history, and local developer API keys are stored on your Mac. Cue Workspace does not receive a copy merely because you open or edit them.

What Cue processes

Do not upload identifiable patient information or other special-category personal data to Cue.

Why Cue processes it

Cue uses account, billing, and AI-operation data to provide the service and balance you request (contract); security and reliability data to protect and improve the service (legitimate interests); and transaction records where required by tax, accounting, fraud, or consumer law (legal obligation).

Service providers and international processing

Cue uses Fly.io for hosting, Resend for sign-in email, Polar as merchant of record, and OpenAI and Anthropic for AI operations. These providers may process data outside the UK under their contractual transfer safeguards and applicable data-protection terms.

Retention and your choices

Expired sign-in credentials stop working automatically. Account, ledger, payment, and usage records are retained while needed to provide balances, resolve disputes, prevent fraud, and meet legal obligations. To request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or to object, email support. Some transaction records may have to be retained. You may also complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office.

Changes

Material changes will be posted here with a new date. Cue does not use advertising cookies or sell personal information.
